This professional grade machine is a welcome improvement over petrol disc cutters due to the much lower maintenance requirements. The saw can take blades up to a maximum diameter of 355mm or 14 inches, allowing you to make cuts up to a depth of 127mm or 5 inches.

The CE001G is capable of cutting various different materials, including multiple materials such as concrete with reinforcing rebar. It can do this thanks in part to the blade cooling/lubrication system. You simply attach a hose to the port on the rear of the tool from either mains water or a hand pump bottle, and water is evenly spread on each side of the blade via the guard.

The saw is powered by two 40Vmax XGT battery packs simultaneously, which are connected in series together to give 72V nominal or 80V max power to the brushless DC motor drive unit. This motor is constantly monitored by the AFT or Active Feedback Sensing Technology unit that can detect a kickback event and engage the brake to reduce the impact.

As you use the saw, a clear indicator light on the top of the machine will illuminate to let you know if you are overloading the motor. This not only allows you to reduce the chances of a kickback, but also lets you keep the operating speed in the most energy efficient range for longer battery runtime.

This version (-T201) is supplied with a pair of 5.0 Amp-hour 40Vmax XGT Lithium-ion battery packs to run the machine, as well as a dual port fast charging unit. The batteries feature a state of charge indicator to let you see the battery level at the push of a button. The charger plays a melody when the batteries are fully charged, which can be changed depending on your preference.
